Forest Science Advisor / Began researching material cycles in forest ecosystems while in graduate school and earned a Ph.D. in Agricultural Sciences. After completing graduate school, he conducted research on material cycles in wetland forests as a Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) Research Fellow. He subsequently worked on nature restoration projects and biomass energy initiatives.
